I am fun loving of all kids and pets. With my own daughter I learned a lot about growing children and how to teach and help them grow into the best part of themselves. I also know what it means for parents to have a break, and can easily make sure to give you the peace of mind needed when taking a much needed break.

Jennah $16 per hour for 1 child

My name is Jennah! I am very friendly and easygoing. I like to be stern when needed. I enjoy creating schedules for the day, but if there is one in place as well, I am ready to follow it! :) I love working with young children and joining them on exploring their creativity. I love to cook simple meals and incorporating new things for them to try. I can help with all homework up to high school level. I have worked with multiple kids before for several years. I have a car and can perform all household duties/functions if needed! I currently do not have my own cleaning supplies to bring, but I will in a few months. If I am working with pets that require walking, I have worked with large dogs and am good to handle them on walks.

Hi.My name is Stefany, I am 31 years old, currently residing in the northwest side of Chicago. I’m currently looking for few part time morning/evenings or overnight weekend stays. Whether it’s to step out and run to get errands done, dinner with a friend, a date night with your spouse, you name it. I’m here to help! I have experience with kids as long as I can remember. Babysitting was second nature to us. Migrating from Guatemala , my mother’s specialty was babysitting but primarily teaching . However struggles came in the way , the language barrier being one of them provided me with my first job at 8 years old as a translator . . I not only was “working” but it served me as it helped me practice my second language but most importantly I found much meaning and value in my mothers work...I loved going, I was able to make friends with their kids , build relationships and left inspired . Along the way, I was blessed with having nephews and nieces. Nine now! Growing up as a tight-knit family we’re always around to help each other out. Fast forward to my late teen years into young adulthood I started taking babysitting gigs as side jobs. I enjoy not only watching after kids but being able to not only be a teacher to them but most importantly learn from children themselves . They carry much gifts and help remind us about the meaning of what life really is about I hope to be able to share this with you and your family. Look forward to meeting and working with you!

Kaela $20 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Rudy. I’m a 27 year old trans queer educator & social worker. I moved to Chicago about 3 years ago to earn my masters in social work. Despite having many loved ones on the east coast, I stuck around after falling in love with this city. I currently live in the Irving Park neighborhood and I have a big ole Subaru outback! I work full time as a sexual violence prevention educator at a nonprofit. I’m available on weekday evenings with enough notice, and most weekends. I’ve worked with kids on and off my whole life, as I grew up with a mom who is a theater teacher and I would help her with her after school programs. I also have 25 first cousins, so there’s always kiddos around. Experience: Nanny to a 4 and 7 year old set of siblings during the pandemic years of 2020 & 2021. Sitter to a 7 week old through his 1st birthday. Sitter to middle schoolers. There are no reviews on my profile yet, as I just signed up for UrbanSitter this week, so I’m happy to provide references. I am a responsible, communicative, enthusiastic and earnest person. I look forward to speaking with you, and answering any questions you may have for me!
