My strategy with kids (and seniors) is to slow down, answer all questions and give them options. As big sister to three boys, my entire childhood and young adulthood involved caring for kids. Once I left home, I became a certified post-partum doula, then went on to nanny full time. I became more curious about teaching kids, so became a theater teacher for kids ages 3-11 for 6 years. Growing up in an intense sport taught me how to manage stressful situations, as well as staying organized. Working with kids or animas is a way I love spending my free time, and making an earning for myself. I’ve always loved being around kids. My summer jobs always consist of being a nanny, last year I worked with a family of 4 children all summer. I also work with families year round, I’ve had experience with three-year olds and one-year olds. I even was a teacher assistant in a third grade classroom, which taught me so much on managing so many kids at once.
