Hi! My name is Lauren, and I have a Master’s degree in Psychological Science from Tulane University. I’m currently pursuing my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with the goal of working with children and families. My education has given me a strong understanding of child development, emotional well-being, and creating supportive, engaging environments for kids of all ages.
I’ve worked with children in a variety of settings, including as a STEM Lab Leader and Literacy Tutor at GiGi’s Playhouse, where I support children with diverse learning and developmental needs. I’ve also provided one-on-one childcare for children with special needs, tailoring activities to each child’s strengths and interests while ensuring they feel safe, understood, and encouraged.
Beyond my professional experience, I’ve volunteered with organizations that support children through education, mentorship, and enrichment programs. Families describe me as dependable, patient, organized, and genuinely caring. I love planning fun, screen-free activities like crafts, games, reading, outdoor play, and creative projects while always prioritizing each child’s safety and well-being.
I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your child, and I strive to create a positive, nurturing environment where children can have fun, learn, and feel comfortable. I look forward to getting to know your family!
