My name is Amy, I'm 29 with 8 years of paid nanny experience. I have a Childhood Development Associates and an Early Childhood Education degree. I'm certified in first aid/ CPR for both children and infants and I'm licensed to teach under the age of 12. I am safe sleep certified, and trained in water safety/survival swim. I worked as a behavioral therapist and transitioned to nannying to have a more direct impact (which has become my career), I also have a ton of experience with infants and I'm a huge fan of sensory play. I like to take kids out to teach real world skills and develop/further interests. I am very careful with the way I speak to children and try not to coddle. I prioritize learning and clear communication, so I always explain reasoning before action. I genuinely just love building little humans and watching them come into their own! I love children. I have 2girls and 2 boys, all are adults. I do work for my son who is disable. I also do childcare for a daycare part-time. I am and fun loving person. I also have 16 grands and 4 great-grandson.

My employment background is Executive Assistant and now that I'm retired, my desire is to return to my first love "children". I began babysitting my nieces and nephews at age 12 up to my current grand children. I worked at a daycare center, and volunteered at Girls, Inc and both were rewarding experiences! My childcare tasks includes, meal prep & feeding, baths, parks, YouTube educational videos! board games, story times, drives to/from school or Dr. Appts, soothing fears, applying a bandaid (if needed), animated movies, walks, & hugs!
