Hello! My name is Kasiya I’m a 21-year-old college student at Johnson County Community College, currently pursuing my degree in Respiratory Care with the goal of becoming an RRT. I was born and raised in Overland Park, KS, and have been working in childcare for 7 years in a variety of settings—including summer camps, daycares, after-school programs, and in-home care. I’m comfortable caring for children of all ages, from newborns to teens (0–14 years old), and I’m also great with pets. Hi! My name is saydee and I am super excited to meet new families and become a part of your family. I have my associates degree in early childhood development from JCCC. During my schooling I worked at a daycare in the infant room working with infants ages to 6 weeks to a year. I also experienced working in the toddler room which was ages 2-4. After graduating I became a nanny to 4 children, ages 3, 7, 8, and 11. I have worked there for 2 years. My tasks were daily chores such as dishes, laundry, and tidying up. I would make snacks, breakfast and lunch on a daily. My goal while I was a nanny was to bring everyone together to have fun and productive days. I would also encourage reading, practicing grammar, math, and learning letters and new numbers (for the youngest)! I love being creative and bringing new ideas into children's lives. Creating crafts is an excellent way to express creativity, and i've found that it feels rewarding to children. My name is Sarah. I am 22 years old and currently a senior online at The King's University. I am planning to go get my master's of Arts in Clinical Counseling in the fall. I do have my own car. I have a really big family so I have been babysitting kids for as long as I can remember. When I was 16, I watched my 6-month-old cousin for a weekend by myself. I have tons of cousins between the ages of 0-15 whom I have babysat on many occasions. I have watched multiple kids at the same time on many occasions as well. My mom worked at a daycare for teachers' kids for a few months and I helped out a couple of times there also. I have more recently been working with a nanny company in Raleigh NC. During my time at this job, I was with multiple families. I helped them do laundry, and dishes and (most importantly and fun) played with the kids. I am very sad to leave and have only been due to moving to KC, Missouri. I love kids and I understand the importance of who influences a young life. When I babysit, it is important to me that the child has the attention they need. I had babysitters often when I was younger and I know that sometimes when they didn't play games with me or always engage with me it hurt my feelings. With that in mind, I am willing to help with homework as well as play games and engage with your kids.
