I just moved back to Baton Rouge and am looking to pick-up a few babysitting gigs per week and/or *part-time* nannying jobs Teaching Background: I hold a professional Level I Teaching License in Early Childhood Education (pre-K - Grade 3) in both Louisiana and Tennessee and have taught exclusively in Title I elementary schools while also babysitting on the side. A Little About Me: I am 30 yrs old and grew up in the Garden District in BR, babysitting for many families in the Midcity area while attending Baton Rouge Magnet High School, along with nannying for a few families while attending LSU while earning a music degree. I also part-time taught violin and viola while in college at Parkview Baptist Fine Arts Academy while also performing/music gigging all over South Louisiana for weddings, churches, local orchestras, etc. HOURLY RATE: I charge a flat rate of $25/hr for 1-3 kids -- non-negotiable rate. For 4+ kids, I will negotiate an hourly rate depending on the job specifics. Currently: I am starting my own business over the next couple of months, so I'm just looking to babysit and/or nanny part-time.
