Over the years, I’ve babysat for friends, family, and neighbors as needed, primarily caring for children ages 1–13. I also have two nephews who I’ve helped care for since they were born, including living with my sister and her family for months at a time to help with childcare and supporting them during extended visits. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and creating an environment where they feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves. Hi! I’m Funmbi 😊 I’m a graduate student at Boston University School of Medicine, and I’ve always naturally been someone who takes care of others. I’m the oldest of five siblings, so a lot of my experience started at home-helping out, staying organized, and being someone my siblings could rely on. I’ve also worked with kids of all ages through my church’s children’s and youth ministry, so I’m comfortable stepping in whether it’s playtime, helping with homework, or keeping a routine going. I also volunteer in my community and plan to attend medical school, so being dependable and attentive really matters to me. I’d describe myself as calm, patient, and easy to be around. I try to meet kids where they are, whether they’re energetic, shy, or just need someone to listen.
