Hi! My name is Natalia. I’m Colombian, 30 years old, and currently live in the Elkridge, Maryland area. I am looking for a full-time nanny position with a family that can offer some flexibility with my school schedule. I have several years of professional childcare experience with children ranging from 3 months to 12 years old. I was an au pair in Syracuse, New York, from November 2019 to August 2022, where I cared for two little girls, including the oldest from the time she was just 4 months old. After moving to Maryland, I worked as a full-time nanny from March 2023 to March 2024, caring for a little girl who was also 4 months old when I started. I am a nurse practitioner (current practice owner) who never had children of my own and have always wanted them. I have medical experience beginning at Children’s Hospital in DC on their behavioural psychiatry unit, my nursing internship was a Cambridge hospital on the pediatric behaviour program. After becoming an NP in 2005, I spent several summers as a camp nurse at the Barrie School in Silver Spring, MD. I have also worked with their 4 year olds for aftercare and substituted in the baby room when needed. My other experience includes being the lead NP at JHH on their Meyer 6 unit for 4 years and some time in the Anesthesia department. Working with children has been my most fulfilling work. My extensive care of children in various situations should make any parent feel confident in choosing me as a caregiver.
