I have worked in education for about 10+ years. I worked with students from K-12 as a substitute teacher, ESL teacher, math and science teacher. I love pets, specifically dogs. I continue looking for new opportunities to work with young people. It informs my approach to teaching and developing safe spaces for young people to thrive.

I have worked with children and youth since high school. I had the desire to work with children and youth as an adult however I haven’t had the chance to really balance that with school and work. Now that I am older and have more availability I want to pursue my passion with working with children and youth. I have a degree in family and humanities and I am a veteran. Over the years I’ve always wanted to pursue having a daycare center or a family based childcare. I still have that passion so I am looking to build a trusted and useful community for those who need my services. I am looking to provide support to families who do not work the traditional 9 to 5 working hours. My services is available for those who work non-traditional hours. The evening/overnight shift and those who work various changing work schedules. I received my experience with working with children and youth through internships, community engagements, and helping family and friend when they need a babysitter. I am willing to experience more hands on opportunities with you and your family. I’ve worked with families both regularly and on an as‑needed basis, adapting as their schedules and needs changed. I currently work in the school system with Pre‑K through 5th‑grade students, where I assist teachers with interventions and provide support to students with a wide range of academic, behavioral, and social‑emotional needs. This experience has strengthened my creativity and ability to connect with children at different developmental stages. When working with families, I love getting to know each child’s personality, routines, and interests. I enjoy planning engaging activities such as arts and crafts, painting, dancing, homework help, trips to the park or museums, library visits, and supporting bedtime routines. I’m also comfortable offering light potty‑training support when needed.
