Hi! I’m Liza. I’m based in DC and have spent the last 12+ years working with kids in a variety of settings. I worked as a preschool teacher at a nature-based school in college, spent the pandemic as a special education substitute teacher for 1st–5th grade, was the activities coordinator of a nature center, and have been a counselor at a several different types of camps. Even though my current career brought me in a different direction, I’m comfortable with kids of all ages and animals of all sizes. I pride myself on bring a calm, attentive, and fun approach to caregiving and education. I’m CPR and first aid certified and happy to provide references from both families and school settings.
