Hi there! I’m Micah. I recently moved to the area after getting married, and while I’m a writer by trade, caring for kids has always been something I truly love. Over the past four years, I’ve gained experience as both a babysitter and nanny, working with children of all ages—from energetic school-aged kids to some of the world’s sweetest infants and toddlers. I’m happy to help with cooking (and I’m a pretty great baker!), homework support, and light household tasks to keep things running smoothly. With a background in theatre and the arts, I bring lots of creative energy and love engaging kids in imaginative, age-appropriate play. I’m also pet-friendly (I grew up with two dogs), have my own car, and hold a Maryland driver’s license. My childcare experience includes overnight stays with infants, serving in my church’s pastoral childcare ministry, and regularly caring for groups of up to four children at once. I work full time in finance at an investment bank. I have a ton of experience with kids of almost all ages as I have been babysitting since I was 9. Mostly family and neighborhood kids at first but through high school and college I volunteered with disabled and special needs kids a lot. I also volunteer at my mom's pre-school every now and then when they have events. I’m also available regarding tutoring in math.

Hello, I have been in childcare for over 10 years. I am a special education teacher in Montgomery county. I have worked for Montgomery county for 6 years, working with children ages 3-12 years old. I taught prek special education, ages 3-5 with a variety of disabilities and needs. I currently teach special education, reading specialist for 2nd-5th grade. I have nannied and babysat for many families and variety of children for over 10 years. I enjoy working and caring for children and families.
