Hi there! I'm Madison and live in Northwest DC. I went to the University of Richmond and have spent the last 5 years working in the nonprofit space. I'm currently career pivoting to apply to school for occupational therapy, and I have a flexible schedule. I have experience babysitting, working as a companion for senior citizens, and years working as a camp counselor. I'm bilingual, energetic, and also happy to provide tutoring or homework help. I also love animals, happy to dog walk / dog sit as well and am comfortable with cats (have one at home😊)

Mariel $25 per hour for 1 child

Hi - My name is Mariel. I have more than 4 years of experience taking care of little ones. I am offering child care and house services; organizing your closet or helping you clean your house. I enjoy being a babysitter and have been watching newborns, infants, and toddlers since I was 8 years old because I used to take care of my young sister in Peru while my mother went to work. Obviously, I had the help of my older sister. I started working more seriously as a caregiver when I was 18, taking care of a newborn for two months, then I came to the USA as an au-pair, and took care of a toddler and a 4-year-old for two years. After that, I took care of a baby for a year and a half until he went to daycare. And my last job was with a baby; my contract was for 5 months, and it was a great time with them. I have great references from all my previous jobs. I am happy to work with families with dogs, but I will not take care of the dog unless I see a great need for the pup, and I will try my best to help if the dog is in need and you are not home. I will prefer a schedule from 9 AM to 4 PM, and weekends are off-limits since I have other commitments, and I prioritize time with my family.

Ava $20 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I’m Ava. I am in my early full time career following graduating college in 2024. Growing up as the oldest kid on my street by about 10 years & my mom being a full time nanny, I have plenty of experience working with children of all ages and behaviors. I have long been the go-to for my community in Northern Virginia, and I’m excited to spend my free time doing the same in the DC area. Aside from babysitting, I’ve spent 4 summers as a full time nanny to two different families with children ranging from 3 to 11. Before I kicked off my full time marketing career, I worked in marketing for a summer camp in DC, where I quickly became many parent’s point of contact and go-to when children needed additional support. I make a conscious effort to lead my childcare approach with empathy & patience and it is something I have so much fun doing. Looking forward to supporting parents in the DC community!

Jessica $25 per hour for 1 child

As a former educator who has worked with children ages 8 to 14 (and younger!), I bring a caring and professional touch to every family I work with. My teaching background means I genuinely understand how kids grow and learn, I know how to keep them engaged and having fun, and I stay calm and patient no matter what the day brings. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish, which I love because it lets me connect with even more children and families in a meaningful way. I'm also a total animal lover! I have a cat at home and have happily looked after friends' pets many times, including some with special medical needs, so families with fur babies are very welcome. On top of childcare, I'm happy to help keep the household running smoothly too. Whether it's cooking a meal, tidying up, or getting things organized, I take real pride in leaving a home feeling a little better than I found it. I know how much it means to a busy family to have that extra support. Whether you need someone occasionally or a dependable go-to sitter you can count on regularly, I'd love to be that person for your family. Working with young, growing humans truly brings me joy and more than anything, I just love being a helping hand.
