I’m a Former Youth Development Specialist/Program Facilitator in MCPS for over 3 years. I also worked for the City of Gaithersburg with youth for 2 years. I organized many activities and community events. I worked with many children ranging from Elementary - High school. Hello everyone! Child care experience: My name is Camila and I’m 21 years old. I am very much of a people person. I’m observant, detail oriented, open minded and observant. I have had experience with kindergartens. My mom has been teaching Elementary school for the past 10 years. I have come to her school to volunteer on my days off from work. This has been for a total of 3 years of volunteering. I enjoy helping out the kids and love seeing their growth throughout kindergarten. Pet care experience: I had a dog of my own for 14 years, he was a Lhasa Apso. I also did a dog walking job back in high school. I did this for a total of 2 years. After the 30 minute walk, I would feed the dog and make sure he had water and played with him for a little. I can do big dogs and little dogs! Senior care experience: I have worked for a agency called Homewatch Caregivers of Bethesda. I am an In-home Caregiver. I provide support , help run errands, do chores around the house. I have been doing this for 7 months now. I enjoy it because I love helping others out and I’m a people person!!
