Hey Prospective Family I am Sergio; I am a Senior at George Mason University, currently studying to become an elementary teacher, and while I study would love the opportunity to look after your children. I am heading into my student teaching in the spring. I moved from Florida where I worked for a family for just over 3 years, as their Au Pair and then became their full time nanny. Have seen the kid I look after go from Elementary all the way to Middle school. My last job was working for a family during the week, looking after 2 girls aged 7 and 10. They are like a family to me and I still keep in contact them. I have over 10 years of experience working with children, from personal babysitting to working at my local church's children's ministry and daycare. Most recently, working for a family as an Au Pair for 3 years now, and then became their nanny full time while studying full time as well. I do homework, do school projects, and cook meals, as some of my duties. I don’t mind taking care of cats and walking a dog. I like working with kids because I've always thought working with children is essential; you are formulating minds, minds that will go on to do incredible things. In my spare time, I like to read. I go to a coffee shop and do some college work or read. I love going to museums, whether history or art. I love being in the kitchen; I like cooking and trying new recipes but prefer baking more. Hi there, I’m Celia. I’m a doctorate student at GWU studying occupational therapy and hoping to one day do pediatric OT. I’m offering child care, senior care, and pet care services at this time. I have been babysitting since I turned 13, have experience in pediatric oncology, and recently was a lead preschool teacher for children ranging from 2-5 years old (within one classroom). I have worked with non verbal children, am CPR certified through the American Heart Association, and love getting creative with kids. I would oftentimes cover the infant room during early and extended care while working at the preschool. I also have around 80 hours of observations with senior care and experience working with the elderly population. I also love dogs and cats, but am allergic to cats and therefore am only accepting dog sitting gigs at this time. I have experience dog sitting 1 dog at a time anywhere from hours to 2 weeks, but would love to gain experience working with more than 1 dog.
