Hello I'm Olivia! I am a child care provider, a mother, and currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Social Work at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. I have professional experience working with a wide range of age groups. I worked with infants and toddlers for 2 years for the Department of the Army Child and Youth Services. I am currently working with school-aged children as a social work intern at a MD public high school, and previously taught math and reading interventions in a MD public elementary school.

I'm a current master's student studying medical sciences with plans to attend medical school next year. I've always loved working with kids and have several years of experience caring for and engaging with children of all ages. I've led youth ministry at my church, working with toddlers through preteens. This included creating fun and meaningful lessons, supervising during services, and supporting families. My relationships with families in the church have also led to trusted babysitting opportunities. Outside of church, I've volunteered with the Boys and Girls Club, primarily supporting elementary-aged children with science-related activities and after-school care. I come from a large extended family and as the eldest, l've naturally taken on the role of caregiver by providing safe, fun, and nurturing environments for younger family members. I have loved caring for children for as long as I can remember, and with over 15 years of experience, supporting and nurturing kids has become a true passion of mine. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and have worked in a variety of healthcare settings, which has strengthened my ability to provide safe, attentive, and compassionate care. I am CPR and First Aid certified, as well as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT), giving families added confidence in my skills and reliability. I am dedicated to creating a positive, engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and feel supported. While I plan to further my education in the future, I am currently focused on doing what I love most working closely with children and being a dependable, caring presence in their lives.
