I have experience working with children through several roles, including as a Cast Member at Walt Disney World and as a Student Leader Intern (SLI) for the Children’s Defense Fund Freedom Schools program. I was also involved in my schools Best Buddies program and am well versed in communicating with kids with special needs. I am a MANDATED REPORTER and fully FIRST AID & CPR certified, so safety is always my top priority. Hi there!! My name is Ellen, I am a Senior at Howard University in D.C. As a college student, I understand the in’s and outs of multitasking. I love to help out busy parents and make their lives easier. I come from a large family and am well acquainted with the aspects of babysitting as I have been sitting for a very long time. I have no problem helping out with meals/meal prep for the week, cleaning, running errands, planning activities for the kids, and getting them where they need to be for the day. My name is Sofia and I am a third year Urban Elementary Education major at Howard University. I absolutely love children and am super grateful to be studying and maturing my work full time at Howard. Back home in Connecticut, I have worked summers at an urban childcare facility for 6 years caring for infants-5th grade.
