I have been a caregiver for all of my adult life. I am a physical therapist in a hospital for over 20 years. I work in the NICU, with infants and toddlers as outpatients, and with the inpatient geriatric population. Additionally, I am of mom of two. I have an 18 year old daughter and a 12 year old son. We also had an amazing dog named Henry for nearly 14 years, so I am comfortable with animals. I am good at adjusting to individual and family needs. I am looking to supplement my hospital job with something I enjoy and am comfortable doing.

I was with my previous family for 14 years and have been with my current family since 2019. •Intuitive and fast thinking- I am able to quickly troubleshoot situations and navigate decisions without handholding. Fixing problems before they become problems. •Almost spotless driving record (one camera ticket in the last few years), plus a squeaky clean criminal record. I am very comfortable driving, navigating rush hour, parallel parking, etc. I have my own transportation. •Funny, down to earth, and strong in my convictions- would like to work with a family on the same wavelength. •I love to cook and am familiar with many different cuisines. Comfortable in kosher, vegetarian/vegan, and gluten-free/allergy kitchens. •Happy to work with families and kids of all types! LGBTQ+, polyam, gnc, families and kids welcome. The downsides: •I am only available for occasional or as-needed work. I currently work part-time with a rolling schedule so I have decent availability but cannot commit to a set schedule. •I am a night owl and prefer to work afternoons and evenings. Late nights are not a problem. •Funny, down to earth, and strong in my convictions- so I’m unfortunately not willing to work with folks whose values don’t match my own :) When not corralling kids, I am in the garden (or planning next year’s garden), elbow deep in dyeing yarn, at my weaving loom with a podcast on, or watching local music.
