Rany $25 per hour for 1 child

Hello !! My name is Rany Nda. I’m 19, warm, patient, and caring, with a natural love for children. I’m energetic and playful when it’s time to have fun, calm and attentive when kids need comfort or guidance. I have cared for my nephew since birth (now 6), my two nieces, and spent 2 years working in a daycare with children from 3 months to 5 years. I am also very organized, and safety-focused, making sure children feel secure and supported. Currently, I’m a junior at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, studying neuroscience, and I aspire to become a pediatric neurologist. My experiences have taught me empathy, responsibility, and dedication to nurturing children’s growth and well-being.”

Amy $17 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is Amy, and I have over 10 years of experience working with kids, from babysitting and being both an au pair and a nanny in Australia, to teaching in different schools or camps as a preschool teacher, outdoor educator, middle school special education teacher, and substitute teacher in California and Minnesota. I would love to help you out with sitting your kiddo(s), as it is definitely a passion of mine. I love to help kids learn and grow all while having fun. I’d love to chat further with you!

Madeleine $17 per hour for 1 child

Hello, I'm Maddy! I'm originally from southern Illinois near St. Louis, MO but moved here to pursue a Biology, Society, and Environment degree at UMN. While in undergrad, I worked as a tour guide and eventually a supervisor in Admissions. I also loved my time as a tuba player in the marching band! After graduating this spring, I'm now pursing an M.Ed and teaching license, hoping to teach HS or MS biology! Experience with Kids: While I was in high school, I was a part-time babysitter for 2 lovely boys (9, 11) and a camp counselor at a theatre camp (ages 5-13). Between these two jobs, I made a lot of chicken fajitas and sang a lot of camp songs! In the past 4 years, I've gained more experience as an AVID tutor and assistant teacher at local middle schools. If your student needs some extra homework help, I am happy to assist! Experience with Pets: Living in the country, I've always had a few dogs or cats around...as well as cows, goats, and chickens! My mom trained as a vet tech and passed down a few emergency response techniques, a careful pet owner herself. I've done lots of overnight sitting in the past, and would be happy to watch over your furry/hairy/wooly/scale-y/feathery friends while you're out of town! Experience with Seniors: While in high school, I was a dietary aide at our local nursing home, working primarily in skilled care, rehabilitation, and memory care. Of course, I was only a dietary aide and didn't do any medicine administration or physical assistance, but if you're looking for someone to help with basic tasks and have some good conversation, that's my specialty! Special Notes: Disabilities - I am happy to learn about your dependent's disability and the ways I can accommodate, but I'd like to be transparent that it's not something I have experience in yet. My teacher education has covered the basics thus far, but I believe there is lots to learn outside of the classroom! Driving - My own car is not as dependable as I'd like, so I'd be uncomfortable driving around your dependent. If you'd like me to drive your car, I am perfectly comfortable! I spent a year driving at Papa John's and always scored top marks!

Sabrin $16 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is Sabrin, I am currently an incoming freshman at the UofM. I am offering a variety of care options for anyone who needs them. I’m currently in school to pursue a psychology degree where I will hopefully use it to become a child psychiatrist. I’ve always loved watching over and taking care of children with babysitting family and friends young ones. I am able to play, tutor, feed, and clean after your pets, kids, or house. I’m open to household chores and overall to do lists. I am unfortunately unable to travel with your child or pet so please keep that in mind. I can’t really interact with dogs but I am open to watching over cats and other pets.

Morgan $20 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is Morgan, and I am a second year student at the University of Minnesota. I'm studying Architecture as my major and then other cool things like languages and ballroom dance! My current language of study is Japanese, which I am beginner-intermediate in, but I also have experience in Spanish (beginner-intermediate), ASL (beginner), and Russian (Beginner). I have plenty of childcare experience, having grown up in a small town with lots of family and younger cousins to take care of. Notably, I have done a weekend job that lasted two nights, three days for four little girls aging 3-8 years old. I have also cared for a large group (8 kids) of 7-10 year olds for an evening that was busy busy busy! It was a lot of fun, and the kids got to play out all of their energy before bed. I have experience with all ages, and am open to many different types of jobs. I typically tidy up the houses I sit at, especially if my work is to get the kids to bed for the night, because I can clean up while they sleep. I am christian as well, so putting kids to bed with bedtime prayers is very comfortable to me, and I can pray with them if they would like me to.
