I haven’t babysat since I was a teenager, but I have 4 years of healthcare experience where I’ve taken care of patients of all ages. I am certified in CPR and Basic Life Support. I even had the opportunity to volunteer in the NICU at University Hospital in Columbia, MO. We have a 2 year old English cream golden retriever named Willow and rescued an Australian Shepard mutt named Smudge from KC pet Project back in August last year. Hi! My name is saydee and I am super excited to meet new families and become a part of your family. I have my associates degree in early childhood development from JCCC. During my schooling I worked at a daycare in the infant room working with infants ages to 6 weeks to a year. I also experienced working in the toddler room which was ages 2-4. After graduating I became a nanny to 4 children, ages 3, 7, 8, and 11. I have worked there for 2 years. My tasks were daily chores such as dishes, laundry, and tidying up. I would make snacks, breakfast and lunch on a daily. My goal while I was a nanny was to bring everyone together to have fun and productive days. I would also encourage reading, practicing grammar, math, and learning letters and new numbers (for the youngest)! I love being creative and bringing new ideas into children's lives. Creating crafts is an excellent way to express creativity, and i've found that it feels rewarding to children. I also love reading and encourage it very heavily, learning how to read, reading to young ones and going to the library! While I was getting my associates degree I did get CPR certified for infants and young children!
