In the afternoons, I would help school-aged children (6–8 years old) with homework and tutoring. After moving to NC, I became an assistant teacher at a preparatory academy, working with toddlers (12–16 months) on walking, speech, and fine motor development. I then started as lead toddler teacher (ages 12–23 months) at a preschool before switching with a coworker to lead the pre-K classroom (ages 3–4). I created weekly lesson plans including hands-on activities like learning shapes and colors, storytelling, name writing, and puzzle-solving.
