I’ve worked with children infants to school age for over 24 years. This all began at 12 years old, and because I became so impulse with parents of children from infant to elementary that I became a contract babysitter to ensure you had me when you needed! While working with HEAD START and for all staff from daycares obtaining accreditation for infants to school age I was a certified American Red Cross instructor CPR and First Aid and safety for all caregivers of infants to school age (elementary) While I taught for DODEA department of defense Education Activities and wrote and obtained my first grant creating a theater drama after school program at one school site and a visual arts after school program for another school site! While I received many awards from both the community and commanding general, the real reward for me was seeing children engage and thrive like never before. I believe that we can and should engage with children of all ages every way every day possible. This begins with infancy and the success and growth from this is seen on a daily basis.
