Hi, my name is Elizabeth and I started this fabulous new adventure just after retiring from an award winning career as an educator and assistant principal in May of 2024! Being able to give my complete undivided attention to connect and engage with only one to three children as opposed to 30 or more is a priceless opportunity, and for me a “fantastic gift to both the child and caregiver!” It’s this rewarding fact that convinces me that you and I would make a fantastic fit for your child! I’ve worked with children infants to school age for over 24 years. This all began at 12 years old, and because I became so impulse with parents of children from infant to elementary that I became a contract babysitter to ensure you had me when you needed! I work well with ALL I care for, this includes, the two legged and four legged family members! While working with HEAD START and for all staff from daycares obtaining accreditation for infants to school age I was a certified American Red Cross instructor CPR and First Aid and safety for all caregivers of infants to school age (elementary) While I taught for DODEA department of defense Education Activities and wrote and obtained my first grant creating a theater drama after school program at one school site and a visual arts after school program for another school site! While I received many awards from both the community and commanding general, the real reward for me was seeing children engage and thrive like never before. I believe that we can and should engage with children of all ages every way every day possible. This begins with infancy and the success and growth from this is seen on a daily basis. Hi there - my name is Jordan, I'm 29 years old, and I am currently a sales & marketing professional and have been a professional baby sitter since I was 14 years old. I have experience with Newborns, Toddlers and PreK - 8th Grade! I was part-time nanny for 2 families with multiple children for 5+ years throughout my late teens and early twenties while living in Las Vegas, NV and babysat as needed for a multitude of other families before I moved to Charlotte 4 years ago. A lot of my contacts and connections to these families came from my time as a Teacher's Assistant at a well known PreK - 8th Grade Preparatory School in the area. I worked there full time from 2013 to 2017 and worked with kids ranging from 2 YO to 13 YO. My time at the school was truly some of the best of my life! I eventually helped run their aftercare and summer school programs as well. To summarize, my experience babysitting spans many years, but I can truly say I have a genuine passion in connecting with our new generations! I have a casual and friendly approach, but one that is well-regarded and well-respected.
