I have a strong background in caregiving that began in my high school years, where I regularly babysat for families in my community. As the second oldest of six girls, I grew up helping care for my five younger sisters, so nurturing, guiding, and supporting children has always been a natural part of my life. I’m comfortable with kids of all ages and understand how to keep them engaged, safe, and cared for. I also have plenty of experience with pets. I grew up with two dogs at my mom’s house and now have one of my own, so I’m very familiar with feeding, walking, and giving animals the attention they need. In addition to childcare and pet care, I’m highly organized and maintain a clean, tidy space. Hi, My name is Aissatou. I am currently an MBA student with 10+ years of experience caregiving for children, pets and the elderly. I am a compassionate, caring and reliable person who can cook, clean, and run errands. My love for caregiving began when I would babysit my neighbor’s children at 17 years old while their single mom would work late shifts. The look of joy that she would give me when she returned to a clean home and children that were cared for was extremely rewarding and gave me a sense of pride. During my summer breaks in college, I would help take care of my elderly neighbor when her primary caregiver was away. I would cook, clean, do her laundry and help administer her medication. The admiration I had for her was so strong that when she was moved to a nursing home, I became a volunteer there. The incredible stories and lessons I learned from the wonderful residents are priceless. I look forward to providing the best care possible!

I have tons of experience working with children, especially those in the five and under range. I have previously worked as a camp counselor for preschool aged children, in which I was the lead counselor responsible for fifteen four year old children. I also used to be a swim coach, teaching assistant, and still babysit and teach swim lessons today. All of these jobs have given me a multitude of different experiences with kids and have taught me how to best work with them depending on the situation.
