I have tons of experience working with children, especially those in the five and under range. I have previously worked as a camp counselor for preschool aged children, in which I was the lead counselor responsible for fifteen four year old children. I also used to be a swim coach, teaching assistant, and still babysit and teach swim lessons today. As I continue my path of education, I hope to become a pediatrician who expresses my genuine compassion for caring for kids, not just physically but emotionally as well. As one of the oldest kids in my family, I have been accustomed to babysitting for quite some time. From babysitting my newborn nieces and nephews overnight to watching my cousins for almost a week. I also have experience in animal sitting for 2 years, whether that be dogs, cats, and even hamsters. Caregiving has been a pivotal part of my life since I was younger, growing up in my household.
