I am a part-time college student at the University of Maryland in College Park. I have years of experience working with children as well as engaging with them outside of a professional setting. I have 2 young nieces (10 and 8) whom I often babysit, drive to and from activities, and keep busy at home while my brother is working. My prior babysitting experience also includes neighbors, children of friends and family, and other relatives. I grew up a dancer so as soon as I became old enough, I was student teaching classes for pre-schoolers and eventually taught some classes on my own. I have worked individually and in groups with ages 3-16. I can confidently say I know how to best meet the needs of all ages while maintaining a fun and playful environment.

I am an animal advocate and love them dearly. I am a special education teacher. I have my own animals and bring animals into my classroom and they are wonderful additions to my classroom and my students. I have rescued over 45 bunnies all different breeds and found them loving homes. I have personally fostered kittens, guinea pigs and bottle fed different types of birds. I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds (parakeets, love birds, green cheek conures and cockatiels). When I was in high school I worked in an exotic pet store. I’m a 20 year old college student looking mainly for weekend work/ part time to help pay for school. I don’t have much paid experience but I have lots of personal experience.
