New to UrbanSitter, however on multiple other platforms! I recently was a sitter to 2 girls on the UES (9&12)! I have experience from ages 3m -13y, Including children with ASD, Cerebral Palsy, and Down syndrome( UP syndrome✨)I have been employed at a sensory center, and I've also worked with long term families and enjoy building lasting relationships✨Caregiving has always been a part of my day to day, being the “babysitter” for family friends. I currently work for a family taking care of two young girls. My responsibilities include picking them up from school, preparing them for bed, and cleaning/cooking. I love my job as each day I learn something new and relearn to view the world though a child's point of view. Previously, I worked transporting kids of special needs in the yellow school bus. I as well have experience working as a home attendant with children and senior citizens for four years. I am also a single mom of two daughters. One is a nurse and the other one is studying in college. In addition, I ,myself, am studying in college working to get my GED and associates degree for medical assistant. Hi guys, I have my BSN in nursing currently studying for my license. I have babysat for over 7 years personally but worked with kids for 9 years since I worked in summer camps. EXPERIENCES: I have worked in clinical settings with children such as pediatrics and NICU. But I also have experience with children with autism and ADHD for over 4 years. I have also worked with children that have diabetes. I understand that patience, caring and love is key. I want each child to feel safe and have the space to grow.
