Hello! My name is Natalie. I most recently completed a public policy fellowship with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute in Washington, DC. While I discern my next career steps, I’m looking to spend some time doing something that energizes me— working with children and youth! I have served as a private babysitter for toddlers and young children, a student teacher for two first grade classrooms, and a summer camp counselor. Finally, as a family engagement specialist at a local childcare financial assistance resource and referral agency, I worked with parents and children to improve positive child development. I love doing arts and crafts, helping with homework, and overall learning from kids as they lead with their childlike curiosity. Looking forward to connecting!

I have worked with infants ages 6-weeks to 8 months during the summers and winters that I had off from school. I have also been an intern and student teacher at an elementary school. I have multiple pets of my own including both dogs and cats. I have been taking care of cleaning my house and cooking food for many years and am a huge fan of clean, healthy, and nutritious eating. I am an extremely creative person with a passion for arts while I also love going on walks and trips to the beach. As I have experience with infants I have a knack for exposing children to different environments, tactile exposure, foods, and textures. Due to my background in education I also am able to incorporate learning into almost anything. I have been also always been able to create strong rapport and bonds with children from infancy to elementary grades.
