Hi all! Iam a very empathetic and trustworthy caregiver who is extremely reliable. Iam very respectful and have a heart of gold! Personally, I take a child-centered approach. Although I’m happy to introduce fun activities and make suggestions, I’m even more interested in listening to what children are into and encouraging them to explore. This means that I’m willing to allow them to, for instance, climb on playground equipment that they may not be familiar with, which means I will shadow them to prevent any falls. Most importantly, It is important to me that you as the parent, and I as the caretaker are on the same page about how you want your children to be taken care of. I also assist with H.W, bedtime routine, meal prep, medication administration, hygiene care, all while under DIRECT supervision. For my infants, Iam experienced in warming and unfreezing breast milk, burping, Iam able to tell if a child is hungry or tired, diaper changing and how to properly hold a little one, especially before their neck is strong. One of my FAVORITE moments while babysitting, is when one of my kiddos who is on the spectrum, after YEARS of turning down anything that wasn’t a chicken nugget or pizza, FINALLY took his first few bites of a different food with ME! I can’t explain how extremely happy i felt. After YEARS of patience, understanding, determination and emotional support, we hit a goal TOGETHER! I can go on and on about my rewarding experience as a caretaker, but I’m not sure if I’ll ever stop! I look forward to working with you and your family!
“Chanaiya worked for my family as a babysitter and was always dependable, caring, and professional. She has a warm personality and was wonderful with the children, keeping them safe, engaged, and well cared for. She was punctual, responsible, and communicated well with us at all times. We always felt comfortable leaving our children in her care and appreciated the patience and kindness she showed every day. I highly recommend Chanaiya to any family looking for a trustworthy and compassionate caregiver.”
