Andria $25 per hour for 1 child

Hi there! I have over 5 years of paid experience in babysitting. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Therapy and am currently working on my Master’s degree. I’ve always loved working with children from a young age and would volunteer at daycares which is when my interest first began. Growing up in a big family, and becoming an aunt at an early age I’ve always been surrounded by young children and the love of working and caring with children only continued to grow. Which led me to pursue a career in speech therapy, where I could continue to foster and help children grow. I know sign language in addition to English, and could help with all homework types. I’ve worked with children with varying developmental needs, such as children on the spectrum, children with learning disabilities or those with speech delays. I am great with play time, crafts, and overall entertaining the children in things they might enjoy. I’m happy to answer any questions and see if I’m the right fit for your family!

Siyan $25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Weehawken, NJ

Hello! My name is Sienna. I’m a recent graduate from the UPenn and am an oncology nurse here in NYC. I work with the adult population in the hospital, but I’ve always loved working with kids. I was a babysitter for 2 years in high school, and I also worked in a children’s hospital throughout my time in undergrad. I’m attentive, detail oriented, patient, and especially love being playful with kids. I'm comfortable with a variety of tasks, from arts and crafts to tutoring to accompanying kids to their extracurriculars. I’m also an avid cook and baker outside of my full time job and would be more than happy to bring those skills to your family as well! On top of that, I am CPR certified and happy to provide care if your child has any medical needs. I am allergic to cats but am happy to work with families with dogs!

Jennifer $25 per hour for 1 child

As an empty nester who raised three children of my own, I bring a level of 'mom intuition' and calm authority that only comes with decades of experience. I specialize in providing high-end, reliable care for families who need a seasoned professional they can trust immediately. My background is unique: I’ve supervised a world-renowned kids' club, taught a wide range of subjects, and have extensive experience working with foster youth. This means I am exceptionally adaptable, patient, and capable of managing any situation—from high-energy play to quiet routines—with ease. I am available for day-by-day, occasional, and last-minute bookings. Whether it’s a date night or backup care during a busy day, my goal is to provide your children with an engaging, safe, and positive environment so you can have total peace of mind while you're away. I am comfortable with all ages and look forward to meeting your family! I graduated from NYU and majored in psychology.

Caroline 2 reviews
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Weehawken, NJ

(New profile - waiting on reviews - can provide references) Hello! My name is Caroline, and I'm a writer originally from Dallas, Texas now living in the North Williamsburg/South Greenpoint area. I recently graduated from NYU and have a flexible work schedule, so I’m available for occasional or regular babysitting! I grew up as the 2nd oldest child (firstborn daughter) in a LARGE, multi-home blended family with animals constantly around, so I've been looking after other kids (and pets) since I was a kid myself :) I absolutely love working with kids because every day brings something new and rewarding—whether it’s seeing a child achieve a milestone or simply sharing a laugh. I have 8 years of regular caregiving experience for other families in both Texas and New York City. I've worked with children from infancy to high school age, including children with special needs/disabilities. I'm well-versed in sibling dynamics and open to providing hands-on care for 2-3 children at a time -- potentially more depending on the ages of the children and/or in nanny-share situations. I started babysitting at 14 during my high school years, which I spent serving my community as a peer mentor and "PAL" (peers in assistance, leadership, & service) for children who had ongoing personal hardships, suffered recent traumatic events, and/or were new to the school. I started working with kids of varied cognitive disabilities in grade school as apart of a volunteer special education program, so I am comfortable working with children who have differentiating physical and/or mental functionalities. I believe that play is one of the best ways for kids to learn and grow, so I love creating fun, imaginative activities that engage kids while helping them develop new skills. I'm happy to help with homework (bonus: I'm trilingual) in any subject, to the best of my ability. I’m not a "passive" sitter - I love to keep kids engaged, and am committed to facilitating and maintaining their routines. I'm a big believer in bedtime stories, positivity, and patience. Other bonuses: I've cared for sick or wounded animals at home and volunteering at an animal sanctuary, and worked as a petsitter/dog-walker 10-15 hrs/wk while in college. Every child and home is unique. I want to be as attuned to their/your needs and preferences as possible, so please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or would like to schedule a call or meeting.

Super warm, instantly connected with the boys, flexible when we unexpectedly needed her much longer, and kept us updated!! Thank you so much! Can’t wait to have her back!
