Hello! I am a graduate student studying for my degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. I am looking for a part-time job outside of my career to help pay for my student loans. I have been familiar with childcare since I was 13 years old! I have been caring for my siblings after school, neighborhood kids, and also infants in my family. I know people don’t typically take familial gigs seriously, but these were paid. In these babysitting jobs, I’d be responsible for bathing, doing homework, entertaining, cooking, and putting the child to sleep. I’d also do cleanly duties around the house to keep it tidy for the parents to come home. I also do have experience in working in a children’s day camp. In the day camp, I was responsible for teaching the children, caring for their safety, taking them on field trips, and taking care of their dietary needs. I am just unfamiliar with precise care, so as long as directions are provided I’d be good to go. I do have an allergy to cats. However my severity depends on the breed and my proximity to the cat.
