Isabella $35 per hour for 1 child

Hello! I’m Isabella and I am new to the city! I was born and raised in Venice Beach, CA. I moved to New York to be closer to my family who live on the east coast and to have a new experience while I am in the early stages of my career! I studied Psychology at UC Santa Cruz where I focused on childhood and adolescent development. Throughout college I was a nanny and worked at a local preschool where I was able to conduct my senior research project on emotional regulation in I nannied throughout college and formed strong and lasting relationships with the families I worked with. Many families I worked with prioritized Montessori schooling methods, so I am familiar with that style of learning. My first year out of college, I worked as a Teacher’s Aide at a school for special needs children. I worked with children ages 7-14 who had varying IEP’s for things like autism, dyslexia, and ADHD, among others. I was trained in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) methods to de-escalate high-stress situations. I am a highly patient, playful, and responsible person, and I take pride in working with families and children. In the next couple of years, I would like to go back to school for a Master's in Marriage & Family Therapy, as I am interested in relationship dynamics and communication strategies. In my free time, I love to be active and outside! I’ve played volleyball my whole life, so I am eager to find a rec league in the city so I can play. I also love to travel and am lucky that my family prioritized this growing up, so I’ve been lucky to travel with them! My experience as a nanny has varied depending on each family’s needs, but I am familiar with school pickup/drop-off, snack and meal planning, homework help, bed/bath time, and planning daily activities. I have experience and am comfortable with overnights after getting to know the family and their children, as well as traveling as needed. I look forward to connecting and seeing if we would be a good fit:)

Emma $20 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I’m offering services for part-time baby-sitting or after school assistance. I began baby-sitting and nannying at 14 and have also enjoyed working with kids in educational capacities: tennis coach, summer camp instructor and youth theater programs. I have experience doing school pick up and drop off, homework help, light housework and cooking. I am happy to help around the house as needed and to cook as much as possible. At 27, I currently work part-time in the nonprofit arts and have a flexible schedule. I’m deeply passionate about art, education, communication and community. And I’m great with crafts!

Mary Ellen $30 per hour for 1 child

Hi, I’m Mary Ellen (M.E. for short). I’m a warm, compassionate, attentive caretaker and graduate student. I’m looking for part-time to full-time opportunities while I complete my degree. I have experience with infants, toddlers, pre-teens, special needs adults, and pets. I currently provide community habilitation services to young women with autism and intellectual disabilities, including remote job coaching, mentorship, and executive functioning support. With years of reporting, interviewing, and managing complex workflows as a journalist, I bring strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills to caregiving. My background has trained me to stay calm under pressure, listen closely, and respond thoughtfully when supporting my clients. I’m organized, dependable, and skilled at creating structure while encouraging independence and creativity. My experience collaborating with diverse communities has strengthened my ability to connect with individuals from different backgrounds and build trust quickly. Above all, I’m empathetic and committed to fostering a safe, positive environment where each individual feels heard, supported, and engaged.

D’ana $25 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I’m D’ana 😊 I’m a college student finishing my junior year and currently work as a teacher’s assistant in a Pre-K classroom with the NYC Department of Education. I have 2+ years of babysitting experience with children from 8 months to 8 years old, including caring for multiple kids at once. Working in both home and classroom settings has helped me build a strong balance of being fun, patient, and structured. I love keeping kids engaged through creative activities like arts & crafts, games, and hands-on learning. I also help with homework especially reading and writing and always try to make learning feel fun and encouraging. I’m looking for part-time babysitting where I can build meaningful connections with families while providing safe, reliable, and attentive care. A little about me: I have a dog named Cleo 🐶 and I’m currently challenging myself to read 100 books this year (I’m already at 15!).
