Hi! My name is Alyssa and I graduated last year from Cal Poly SLO. I am starting my masters program at Pepperdine this coming Fall and am hoping to find a part time nannying job. About me: I am comfortable with toddlers (1-3), young kids (4-8), and older kids (9-12+). I am happy to discuss infants on a case-by-case basis. I bring "supportive older sister" energy. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I hold a BS in Biology and a master's degree in architecture. I am well-read and comfortable tutoring up to Calculus 1, and I can be a genuinely positive academic influence for a curious or academically inclined older child. I don't have formal nanny references, but I am happy to provide strong professional references, including colleagues who know me well in the context of their own children. I do not smoke, am not a heavy drinker, and do not use drugs. I have a current driver's license, an impeccable driving record, and my own (admittedly slightly junky) car. I am a strong home cook, though not a chef. Happy to put together meals. Most of all, I am kind, extroverted, and hardworking. I know how to be a supportive presence in someone's home without overstepping. I will be on board with the way you choose to raise your children. I currently live in Williamsburg and am flexible on the neighborhood. Happy to sign an NDA. I am a strong fit for a family looking for weekend support, or for one that already has a full-time nanny and needs a reliable, professional substitute on days off or additional weekend coverage.
