Hello Parents! Thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Amanda! I am a part time college student in my third year, studying animal science. As a New York Native I know how to navigate through the MTA system and the neighborhoods of each borough. I am CPR/First Aid Certified. I am currently available for part time work, occasional care, one time jobs, date nights, and holidays. One of my passions is caring for children, and animals. I have over 10 years of babysitter/nanny experience with children of all ages. Although, I’m pursing a degree in animal science, caring for children is something I’ll always continue to do. I love getting to know children, watching them grow, and supporting their important milestones. Along with my childcare experience, I have 9 years of experience working as a pet sitter. My dream is to open a pet care, and babysitting company. Why not both! I have been caring for children since the age of 12. I started babysitting my younger brother at a young age, as I grew older I transitioned into caring for my younger cousins, and working as a babysitter/nanny. In addition, I have experience caring for children with ADHD, ADD, & Anxiety. In the early summer of 2019 I worked for Camp Shiloh as a Camp Counselor in Training. I was a fellow camper myself there for several years, and I currently am a mentor under their youth program Hi-Def. A fun fact about me, I love Harry Potter, and comic books. Some of the fun things I love to do with children are making art, building blocks, engaging in activities around the city, read books, dancing, baking, playing board games, going to parks, sports, playing with toys & more. In my free time I like to swim, skateboard, listen to music, learn new things, write, and ground myself in nature. Children love me as their babysitter because I’m empathetic, open minded, committed, and pretty funny 😊 Booking Policies: - Due to safety reasons, after 10:30 pm I request a Uber/Lyft home - 3 hours minimum booking - In the event you come home early, I still require full payment. - If the job is cancelled within 48 hours, I require 50% of payment as a cancellation fee. Your child’s safety is my upmost importance, and of course having fun. I hope you as well as your loved ones are doing well, and staying safe during this transitional time. I look forward to hearing from you. References can be provided.

Booked by 7 families in Flushing, NY

Hi! My name is Tess and I am a student at Fordham University. I am offering babysitting, pet care and household chore services. I have been a babysitter since I was twelve, starting as a mother's helper and onwards from there. My responsibilities included driving to and from school, helping with homework, sports and activites, putting the kiddos to bed, and overall general home care. I have worked with ages 1-14, as a babysitter, camp counselor and nanny. As a sociology major, I hope to start a career in early education! I am happy to help with any animals, as a cat and dog lover myself. I'm currently working with a range of ages, from 1-14 but am happy to help with younger or older.

We are so happy we found Tess, she inspired confidence from our first interview. I was nervous about finding a sitter for my 10 month old but now I look forward to her playtime with Tess while I’m in class. She’s been super punctual, flexible, and professional- best of all she seems to click with our baby, who is always happy at pick up time!

Dependable and dedicated caregiver with over 13+ years of childcare experience supporting families with infants through pre-teens. I provide after-school, evening, and weekend care for households with up to five children. Known for being reliable, calm, and adaptable, I bring a strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate engagement. I prioritize creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to think creatively, develop independence, and practice respect for themselves and others. I communicate clearly with parents, maintain consistency in routines, and approach caregiving with professionalism, patience, and care. My résumé and letters of recommendation are available upon request. I welcome the opportunity to connect and further discuss how my experience and approach can support your family’s needs.

Farah was fantastic! She watched our kids during a date night while we were visiting New York, and she was exactly what we hoped for. She was warm, dependable, and easy to communicate with. We came home to happy, sleeping kids and had complete peace of mind while we were out. We’d happily book Farah again the next time we’re in New York.

**fully vaccinated, immune as of March 20** Hey, everyone, Andrew here. As we enter the new normal, I'd love to discuss your specific childcare needs. In addition to my usual balance of comedy and care, I'm invested in the crucially important health of your family. An actor by trade, I'm also looking at a summer and fall without work or auditions, so I have more availability than usual. Don't hesitate to reach out. I have 6 years of NYC babysitting experience, and I live off the ABCD at 145th. Express trains for the win! I am background-checked and trained in CPR and First Aid, and you can get a great sense of my work from the reviews here on my profile. I'm an actor by trade and lover of yoga, animals, plants, and I'll always pay extra for guac. My goal is to have a positive impact on a family's day--and maybe a child's outlook--and I love to encourage creativity and cooperation in kids of all ages. I'm sensitive to sibling dynamics thanks to my two siblings (also searchable on here--Laura and Tommy), and I'm engaging, patient, and eager to get out to a playground, park, or library. Please note that I also request 36 hours' notice of a cancellation or shortening of a booking. After the 36 hours, I request payment in full for--at minimum--the hours originally booked. Thanks very much for your understanding! For bookings ending 10pm or later, I request a car home or money to book a car myself--since the trains get so strange late at night. Thanks immensely for considering me--I look forward to hearing from you!

Andrew was so good with my (sometimes fussy) 5-month old! Andrew helped out for a week and was a lifesaver. He has great energy, is comfortable with infants and is a joy to be around. Highly recommend Andrew!
