I currently work part-time as the Development and Partnerships Director for a nonprofit providing education and mental health support to women and girls in Afghanistan, and I have about 20-25 hours a week available for a family in need of extra help. I have 19+ years of experience working with children, from newborns through high school, across nannying, daycare, summer camp, tutoring, and classroom teaching. I've cared for children in one-on-one and group settings, for families in Brooklyn, Los Angeles, and internationally, including families with high-profile backgrounds. I learn how each child thinks, what makes them feel safe, and where they need room to grow. My professional background is in educational and curriculum development. I performed on Broadway through my teens, then shifted into nonprofit work and volunteer teaching. I lived and taught at a school in India for close to two years, worked at a summer camp for refugee youth, and have held roles spanning operations, client experience, and learning and development.
