Hello! I am a retired Paraprofessional/Teacher Assistant with 20 years of experience working for the NYC Board of Education. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and am also a proud mother of two. My driver's license is clean, and I am CPR certified. I have a genuine love for children and extensive experience working with special needs kids. Patience, care, and nurturing are qualities I pride myself on. I have significant classroom experience as well as tutoring backgrounds. I have experience working with infants and toddlers. I have worked part-time at a Montessori school with toddlers aged 18 months to three years. I find this age group particularly fascinating, and I thoroughly enjoy working with these young children. I possess extensive experience in feeding and supervising their naps. The two-year-old stage is a critical period, during which they acquire communication skills and assimilate new knowledge. Additionally, I am comfortable with pets and can help with walking them if required. Currently, I am working part-time with two sisters, ages five and six. My responsibilities include picking them up from school, taking them to various activities, entertaining them, and preparing dinner when necessary. I am also currently working with a three-year-old girl who is speech-impaired and has some medical issues. My duties include feeding and changing her, as well as engaging her in activities, specifically puzzles and other exercises to improve her motor skills.
