I've been caring for children for as long as I can remember. As the oldest sibling, with brothers nearly 10 years younger than me, I began helping care for them when I was just 7 years old. Because my mother worked nights, I took on many caregiving responsibilities from the time they were infants. Those experiences taught me patience, responsibility, and the importance of creating a safe, loving environment for children. Over the years, I have babysat children of all ages, from infants and toddlers to school-aged children and teenagers. I have also worked as a camp counselor for children with special needs, supporting children with developmental, emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. This experience strengthened my patience, adaptability, and ability to respond calmly to a wide range of situations while ensuring every child felt safe, included, and supported. Safety is always my top priority. I naturally assess risks, stay attentive, and make thoughtful decisions to ensure children are protected while having fun. I understand the trust parents place in a caregiver, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I genuinely love children and enjoy engaging with them through play, reading, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, homework help, and everyday learning opportunities. I'm also a proud dog mom to both large and small dogs, so I'm very comfortable in homes with pets and happy to care for furry family members as well.
