I have been working with children since i was 14 years old and have been continuing to do for the past 12 years. During these past 12 years, I have babysat children ranging from infancy through 11 years of age. In addition, I was a tutor for 5 years where i have helped children with their homework and helping them advance to the next reading level. In the previous summers, i had the chance to work at a summer day camp as the head counselor where I had identify the campers needs and talk to parents on issues that their child may be going through. Lastly, I promote and encourage healthy and safe behaviors to children. I love babysitting because I love making everlasting memories with the children while teaching them new things. Hello, I'm Gina and I’m so excited to work with you! I’m a graduate of NYU where I received my Masters of Music in Vocal Performance (musical theatre). I’ve received in person guided and hands on training/instruction and certification in both adult and infant First Aid and CPR. I’m the middle child of three children, and one of 22 grandchildren in my family so I am very accustomed to being surrounded by young children running around! My mother has worked as an early childhood educator/administrator my entire life. Many of the tactics she utilized in her classroom were the same ones she used raising my siblings and I. I’ve learned much of what I use in childcare from her, including helping the young ones with their coursework! I’ve idone baby sitting as well. In June of 2025 i obtained my associate degree in Early childhood education. I love working with kids because of how rewarding it is- they teach me as much as I teach them! I also a mother to two beautiful baby girls and I understand how exciting it is to watch children learn and grow from both the parent and sitter perspectives! For any reason a booking gets cancelled or you come home early I still charge for the entire time. I also require cab fare back home once a booking ends after 11:00pm.
