I have been professionally babysitting for ten years, but as the second oldest of six children, I have been caring for kids my entire life. My experience ranges from picking up children from school, supervising outdoor activities and outings, preparing meals, putting to bed, and occasionally overnight stays (the longest being one week). I also have many years of experience as a summer camp counselor and a children’s surf camp head counselor. Im comfortable taking care of kids of any age, however I have the most experience from ages 2 and up. I’m patient, energetic, and love keeping kids active and engaged, while also being comfortable setting clear boundaries and expectations when needed. I love any and all animals (except spiders) and would be more than willing to work with families with pets.

The full session rate will still apply, as the time slot and travel have been reserved. Health & Behavioral Disclosure: Clients must disclose if a dog is in heat, has a history of leash resistance, or has shown defensive behavior toward new handlers. Undisclosed conditions that prevent safe handling may result in cancellation with full charge. I am fully background-checked, patient, reliable, nurturing, and very accommodating to each family’s needs. I love creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can feel comfortable, supported, and happy. If you live a distance away and need urgent care, I kindly ask that transportation be covered via Lyft or Uber. Hi! I’m Aubrey. Nice to meet you! I’ve lived in Brooklyn for over three years now and currently live in Gowanus. Before moving to NYC for my day job, I spent an incredible year and a half as a live-in au pair in London after graduating from college. While an au pair, I looked after two kids—1.5 y/o girl and a 4 y/o boy—which gave me lots of hands-on experience from morning routines, school drop-offs and pick-ups, and outings to parks and museums, to evening babysitting. I loved my time with the kids, and so continuing to babysit alongside my day job here in NYC. Outside of work, I love staying active and spending time outdoors. I ran the NYC Marathon last fall, and when I’m not running around the neighborhood, I love cooking and spending time with friends and family.
