Hi! I’m Laura, a Hunter College student double-majoring in Studio Art and Early Childhood Education, with 5+ years of experience caring for children ages 2–7. I’m passionate about creating warm, safe spaces where kids feel free to explore, express themselves, and grow. I love incorporating art and crafts into our time together and making learning feel like play! Summer availability: I’m available mornings through 2pm, with afternoon availability opening up July 6–26. Looking forward to connecting!

Laura is an outstanding nanny/babysitter. Professional, punctual, adaptable, and above all very playful. She looked after our highly energetic and at some times very demanding 4 year old at a moment's notice and immediately was able to take him out for a day on the town without any time to acclimate. Played very well with our son who often requires non-stop action and attention. Very impressed how quickly Laura adapted to the situation with little preparation and hosted an amazing day for our child!

Booked by 7 families in New York, NY

Hi! My name is Tess and I am a student at Fordham University. I am offering babysitting, pet care and household chore services. I have been a babysitter since I was twelve, starting as a mother's helper and onwards from there. My responsibilities included driving to and from school, helping with homework, sports and activites, putting the kiddos to bed, and overall general home care. I have worked with ages 1-14, as a babysitter, camp counselor and nanny. As a sociology major, I hope to start a career in early education! I am happy to help with any animals, as a cat and dog lover myself. I'm currently working with a range of ages, from 1-14 but am happy to help with younger or older.

We are so happy we found Tess, she inspired confidence from our first interview. I was nervous about finding a sitter for my 10 month old but now I look forward to her playtime with Tess while I’m in class. She’s been super punctual, flexible, and professional- best of all she seems to click with our baby, who is always happy at pick up time!

I started working with children from a very young age. I have experience as a nanny and camp counselor. I also am an animal lover and love long walks with furry friends. Being the oldest sibling, it is in my nature to be a caregiver and I am very patient and lots of fun. A fun fact about me is I love books and music!

Hi! My name is Cris I am from the Dominican Republic and I am based in Brooklyn. I have a BA in Anthropology + Social Practice. I have 4 years of experience in education: 2 years working in elementary after school programs as a creative writing teacher + 2 years as a full time middle school humanities teacher. Every summer for the last two years I have worked part time in a daycare, primarily caring for infants and toddlers. I currently work as an ELA teacher at an arts high school. I am passionate about community organization, art, literature, and learning. While enrolled in a research program in Costa Rica I worked in a small rural primary school as a teacher’s aid and English + Social Sciences instructor. I mostly worked with children ages 3-12 as well as children with special needs and disabilities. During this time I helped the school community organize fun and unique activities for the students and worked directly with parents to assist in their children's progress. Since then I have been part-time babysitting here in the states. My time working with children has taught me how to encourage, support, and provide a sense of safety and care. Overseeing both large and small classrooms has made me well equipped to handle and diffuse high stress situations with patience and caution. I would describe myself as a high energy, compassionate, patient sitter with a big heart. I enjoy teaching and reading to children, working on arts and crafts projects, and engaging their creativity. I am bi-lingual, I speak fluent English and Spanish. I am also happy to help with pet-care and domestic tasks such as laundry, light cleaning, errands, cooking meals, etc.
