Hello! I would describe myself as patient, friendly, understanding, reliable, and great with kids :) Feel free to ask for the contact info of my references! As of right now, I am the regular sitter for 4-year old & 10-month old sisters. I am seeking occasional/one-time jobs for when I have availability. I previously worked at Breindy Active Fitness. I would watch 2-8 kids at once, all under 3, and many were newborns. I have experience playing with children, calming them from tears, feeding them, changing diapers, reading with/to children, night-time & day-time routines, and more. In my senior year of high school I interned at the Jewish Community Center Day Care. I was a teacher aide for a classroom of 5 year olds. One of the kids had special needs. In high school, I was a part of a club that contained kids with autism and kids without autism. We did many different bonding activities together that exercised my capacity for patience and understanding. I raised with a dog and a cat in the house for over 12 years and consistently took care of them. I often dog sit/cat sit/house sit for my friends when they are on a trip. I grew up very active and played on the Volleyball, Swim, and Rugby Teams at school. I also danced ballet for 10+ years. I love arts & crafts and playing! Also my major was English Literature, so I love stories and reading.

Emily Jane $25 per hour for 1 child

Hi there! My name is Emily and I am a house manager and nanny and I love my job! I have four years of full-time experience in childcare, providing attentive and professional care to children of various ages. Beyond traditional babysitting, I have also worked as a personal assistant, managing household and family-related tasks with efficiency and discretion. I have also just completed a year training and working as a co-teacher at a nature-based preschool. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with high-profile clients, in the entertainment industry and know how to be discreet and professional. Before nannying I worked in the entertainment industry and know the protocols for being on set or in a professional environment. My responsibilities have included creating engaging and educational activities, maintaining daily routines, assisting with schoolwork, coordinating schedules, and handling errands to support the family's needs. My experience has given me strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask effectively. Whether managing a child’s day-to-day activities or ensuring a household runs smoothly, I bring professionalism, warmth, and reliability to every role.

Hi all! I am Elizabeth Martel, a 23 year old female currently living on the Upper West Side! I am from Dallas, TX and I moved to NYC in May 2025 and have loved every second of it since! I’m a paralegal at a law firm where I spend my days, but in my evenings and on the weekends I love babysitting. When first moving to New York I really wanted to get into babysitting as it was something I enjoyed doing back home and was a good way to dive into my new city. Since then I have grown my babysitting connections and now have over 8 families I consistently babysit for all over the city. I mainly sit for infants/ and new borns, but also have experience with a wide range of ages from newborn - 11 years old. I am CPR certified, comfortable in high stress situations, and good at juggling multiple tasks. The children’s safety is always my top priority. I’m always available to have a meeting before as well!

Elizabeth was so wonderful with our infant! She arrived on time, she was so sweet with him, and we found he was super comfortable with her immediately. 10/10 recommend!
