Samaira $30 per hour for 1 child

I am a Pratt grad student with eight years of experience in nannying. I care for little ones ranging from 2 months old to 12 years old. I am CPR and First Aid for infants and adults. As a nanny, I support the family in tending to the children's basic needs and engage them in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. I like working with kids to alleviate pressures from parents & give them peace of mind as I help their children learn / reach milestones while ensuring they are safe. I'm looking for a job that allows me flexibility. Ideally M-F or date nights. Including a zoom meet & greet between us before I start.

$18 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in New York, NY

Hi, my name is Kim, but my friends and clients call me the "fairy dogmother" and the "doggie doula" because of how great I am taking care of dogs (and because of how much I spoil and love them)! A little bit about my background-- I am based in Brooklyn two blocks from Prospect Park. I have over 15 years experience caring for and rescuing high-need dogs with health issues. I decided to open up my home to dogs on Urbansitter after my senior dog recently passed away from end stage renal disease. Through caring for him and others, I have learned to administer subcutaneous fluid as well as oral medication to animals. I specifically have ample experience supporting dogs with generalized anxiety disorder, Cushing's, bladder stones, chronic pancreatitis, allergies, injuries, and so on. While I do have a full-time job that's unrelated to my passion for animals, I mostly work from home, which means I am available during the day for many walks and snuggles for your furry loved one. If you ask any one, they will tell you that they've never met someone who goes so above and beyond for dogs and that your companion will be so well-taken care of. (In fact, my old vet might have asked me a few times to adopt her as well. LOL! 💜) I don't do this for money. I do this because I truly love spending time with dog babies. It brings me the utmost happiness to bring them joy and to know that I'm providing someone else peace of mind while they are away from their loved one.

Meadow 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is Meadow, I am 24 and just moved from Wisconsin. I graduated a few years ago with a business management degree. I have been babysitting since I was in middle school, I was also a full time Nanny 2 years ago during the summer. I come from a big family and have always been around kids. I currently work as a barista and we have a playroom available so I am still working with kids daily. With former families that I have worked with, I have assisted in helping with homework, getting the kids ready for school or bedtime, cooking, cleaning and walking them to school. I am comfortable with cats and dogs as well.

Meadow is competent, trustworthy, patient and kind. My son takes awhile to warm up to people and he quickly connected with Meadow. She understood his feelings, was empathetic and patient with him. She found topics to connect with him and they built a fun relationship. She also was great with my daughter (9) who could talk with Meadow for hours. I highly recommend her and have full confidence in her skills and abilities with kids of all ages.
