Hi! I’m Maddie, a 22 year old recent college graduate who just started working full time as a paralegal in Manhattan. I’m looking for some extra work with flexible scheduling and really miss my many previous jobs working with children, so I figured this would be the perfect fit!

Hii! I am Helia, and I am a student at Pratt Institute. I love children, and growing up I helped out a lot with taking care of family friends' kids, which included watching over them and playing and crafting with them. I also have a lot of experience working at children's language classes as a teacher's assistant. I have worked for both summer camps and weekly few-hour classes. These jobs mainly include assisting with outdoor activities, feeding the children, and making sure they are all safe throughout the day. The ages of the children usually vary between 6 and 14. I also have some experience volunteering at a kindergarten for a summer, where I had similar tasks to the language classes, except these children were between the ages of 3 and 6. I offer pet care as well, which I have a lot of experience in due to growing up as a pet owner myself. I have a cat and a dog, so I am comfortable with both. I am also fluent in both Hungarian and Farsi, so I am comfortable working with those languages. I also speak elementary German, Korean and Japanese.

I am a second-year student from Southern California studying at business and politics at Fordham University LC. I have an identical twin sister who I am very close with, and who also attends Fordham University! I have 5+ years of babysitting experience for neighborhood family and friends, and an additional year's worth of experience working as an activities coordinator at the Four Seasons Aviara, where I facilitated crafts in the kids club, helped manage operations around the resort, and assisted with babysitting services while parents left their kids in my care on their vacation time. I was a competitive dancer throughout high school where I often helped mentor the "mini" dance team with my studio, including assisting with their classes and helping them get dressed and prepared at competitions. When I am not in class or doing homework, I also really enjoy running, going for walks, -- or doing anything active really -- reading, and hanging out with my friends around the city. I hope to be able to use my services to create a warm and welcome community for the kids left in my care, and assist with whatever actions are needed to ensure a great childhood filled with love and comfort!

I have been babysitting since I was 14years old and love kids! I volunteered in the nursery (ages 1 through 4) at my church all four years of high school. In addition, while in college I nannied for two years. I have continued to babysit post graduation as much as I can! I was an early learners tutor at Kumon and taught swimming to kids ages 2 and up. So in addition to Babysitting, I’m well equipped to help with homework and provide swimming lessons!
