Hey there, future families! I'm Vashti, and I'm excited to introduce myself. I've had the pleasure of caring for little ones from toddlers to teens, making each day an adventure. I'm here for tweekends when you need an extra hand, and if my schedule allows, I'd love to help out on date nights too. In my free time, you'll often find me aimlessly strolling through the city, and pedaling on a trusty Citibike. Just a friendly heads-up: if our day together stretches past 10:00 pm, I'd appreciate your help covering half of my Uber ride home. Looking forward to getting to know your family better! 😊

Hi! I'm Isabelle, am 29 years old and live in NYC. I have an AA in Art and a BA in Politics. I work as a case manager/community organizer at a food pantry on the UES. I used to babysit during college and always enjoyed it which is why I still occasionally enjoy picking up some gigs here or there :) I grew up in Germany with an American mother, a German father, and am the oldest of 4 siblings. I'm fluent in both German and English and have worked with bilingual kids in both a nanny and teaching environment. After graduating from HS in Germany and professionally working in the performing arts growing up, I was interested in working socially with families and kids who were less fortunate/had special needs. In the summer of 2015, I started an art+living project in Germany with kids and families who had fled their countries. In 2016, I became part of a therapeutic horse farm that focused on working with kids with special needs. I was the outdoor teacher and leader of an inclusive forest group consisting of 5-7 children aged 4-10 years old. Upon moving to the USA in 2017, I worked as a teacher at the Seattle Waldorf School and absolutely ❤️ it. In the summer of 2022, I worked with kids in Ukraine+Poland, primarily teaching or working with mothers and babies. I've been working with runaway homeless youth at places such as The Door and The Ali Forney Center for the past several years. Working with kids has always brought me joy and kept me grounded during hectic times. I nannied during undergrad and, while I have experience with children of all age ranges, I have primarily worked with infants and babies during their first year of life. I have experience with night-nannying, sleep training, feeding, and multiples. For those of you with older kids, bedtime routine is no problem either as I have had many longer term after-school gigs as well. I am confident in navigating the city responsibly, including school pick-up, and use of public transit. As a nanny, I'd describe myself as relaxed, punctual, reliable, flexible, confident, reasonable, communicative, consistent and dedicated. I very much enjoy working with families of different backgrounds, and I am absolutely LGBTQ+ family-friendly, being part of one myself. I can provide references and am happy to answer any further questions. I'm vaccinated and CPR trained. ⭐️ When I'm not nannying, I am playing soccer, going for a run, cheering on the WNBA+ NWSL, going out with friends or staying in with my books.

Isabelle was great. On time, asked thoughtful questions and kept us updated on how our girl was doing.

Hello, parents! My name is Sara. I am a nanny and early childhood educator with nearly 20 years of experience in private childcare. I live near Prospect Park in Brooklyn and work full time with a family on the UWS. I’ve been their nanny for the past 10 years. I studied music therapy at Berklee College of Music with an emphasis on early childhood development and child psychology. While working towards my degree, I taught in the two year old and three year old programs in a local preschool, and served as the music director at a Boston Gymboree. I am a huge believer in child-led play, respectful discipline, and nourishing the imagination. I have availability for babysitting on weekends, late nights, and occasionally when my nanny family travels. I try to keep my calendar up to date to reflect open availability. If you have any questions, please feel free to message!

Sara was great; she communicated well, solved problems proactively, and had an ease and confidence with our 15-month-old that made for a stress-free night out. Her years of experience are evident. Would definitely rehire.

Greetings! Mature, reliable, caring, and attentive Nursing professional available with own transportation. Perfect for Out-of-town Guests! I've been a Pediatric Nurse for over 35 years, in several major NYC children's Hospitals, specializing in Infant/Toddler, NICU, and PICU. My latest degree is PhD-Nursing. I am fingerprinted and background checked because I volunteer with foster children. I'm smoke-free, pet -free (but love pets), perfume-free, and have had my COVID, Tdap, flu & pneumococcal shots, so your child with respiratory sensitivities will be safe with me. Now a Full-Time Tenured Pediatric Nursing professor, I really enjoy being around healthy children, and am also available to sit your ill or medically fragile children. I not only know Pediatric CPR, but have successfully performed it multiple times in the ICU. I have RN and PNP licenses in NY and NJ. Having worked at a major Jewish hospital, I also learned how to keep your household Kosher, if needed. I love babysitting, and have always enjoyed caring for children in their own home. My friends have 10 kids and I'm the only person they will leave them all with - especially for the weekend! And yes - happy to show you an ID, a valid COVID Excelsior Pass, and BLS, First Aid & PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) cards (all valid until July 2023).Your kids are SAFE with me! Education - PhD - Nursing- CUNY Graduate Center, Pediatric NP - Adelphi University, MS Nursing - College of New Rochelle, BS Nursing - University of Connecticut (Go Huskies!!) During the academic year, my primary daytime commitment is to my students, so I am NOT usually available during the day (unless I have specifically applied for your job.)

Susan helped us with puppy sitting during some of my work travel. She was professional and flexible with scheduling and kind and patient with our brand new pup, who is still very young and needy. We would recommend her to anyone and would definitely use her again.
