Childcare for me once was a hobby that has blossomed into my life long purpose. I have always adored children and take pride in being a part of so many family, friends and associates’ villages. I have been a nanny both part time and full time for multiples and a nanny share. Currently, I’ve received my Child Development Associate, I am a full time lead teacher at a daycare, & a direct support provider for a child with special needs, 4 years and counting. After school hours and most weekends I am a babysitter for local, school and referred clients. In the past few years I’ve focused on expanding my knowledge and experience. I hold several certifications & undergo extensive trainings to comply with both state & daycare regulations. I will always go above and beyond to grow, as no day is the same and I love that I get to tap into my fun side. What I Expect From Parents: - If a parent cancellation occurs within 24 hours, I expect to be compensated for the full amount of the job. - To inform me of any illness of the child before job start. - To inform me if a parent will be home for the duration of the job before job start. - If any duties aside from caring for the child are expected (dishes, laundry, plant watering, feeding pets, etc.) The UrbanSitter app has given me tons of experience with children of all ages and behaviors.
