Hi there! I'm a 40 something-year-old Brooklyn resident, dog owner, and lifelong animal lover looking to care for your pets while you're away. My own rescue dogs have taught me a lot about patience, routine, and reading what an animal needs even when they can't tell you directly — from an anxious wait by the door to a happy tail-wag greeting.
I know that handing your pet over to someone else, especially while you're traveling, can bring up a lot of worry: Will they get enough exercise? Will someone notice if something's off? Will I get updates? As a frequent traveler myself, I've been on both sides of that anxiety, and I take it seriously.
I'm primarily interested in short-term dog care, with a 2-night minimum preferred — long weekends, extended trips, or overnight stays in your home or mine. I'm comfortable with multiple dogs if they're used to each other, and happy to administer medication as needed.
I work with dogs at every life stage. I have hands-on experience with puppies, including the consistency and patience that early training and routine-building require, as well as with senior dogs and end-of-life care, where comfort, gentleness, and close attention to changing needs matter most. Whatever stage your dog is in, I'll approach their care with the same warmth and attentiveness.
You can expect me to be reliable, communicative, and genuinely attentive — I'll follow your routines, send photo/text updates, and treat your pet with the same care I'd want for my own. If you're looking for someone calm, experienced, and trustworthy to look after your furry family member, I'd love to help.
