Hi! I’m Lia, a caring, responsible, and nurturing caregiver with experience working closely with young children. As a violinist getting a degree in music performance, I’ve taught violin to younger kids, which has taught me how to be patient, encouraging, attentive, and able to communicate with children of different personalities and learning styles. I also grew up helping take care of my younger cousins, so being around children and looking after them has always felt very natural to me. I moved to New York at a young age to study violin at Juilliard Pre-college and became very independent early on, which taught me how to be responsible, organized, dependable, and comfortable handling things on my own. I understand how important it is for parents to have someone they can trust and feel completely comfortable leaving their children with. I’m also an experienced pet caregiver and currently work through Rover as a dog sitter and walker, where I have received five-star reviews from clients.
