I’m planning to apply to the BSW program, and I’m especially interested in working in mental health and helping others. I’ve always loved babysitting, mostly because I had a babysitter growing up who I really loved and looked forward to spending time with. I’ve been working with children since I was around 14 and have experience caring for toddlers and older children. I’ve also volunteered and worked at a summer camp for young children, which gave me even more experience spending time with and caring for kids. I would describe myself as patient, responsible, and caring. I love being outside with kids when the weather is nice and getting involved in whatever activities they enjoy. Hi! My name is Sarah, I’m an LA-raised NYC dweller and lover of kids. As the oldest of 7 close cousins, I’ve been babysitting pretty much since I could hold a bottle. After moving to New York for school, I majored in Creative Writing and minored in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies. I also spent three years working in retail at Walt Disney World, where I focused on creating memorable, engaging experiences for families and children. This strengthened my ability to connect quickly with kids and bring energy and positivity into every interaction. In addition, I have extensive coaching experience with both the Savannah Sharks and Upper Merion Allstars, where I led practices and taught tumbling classes. I also coached a cheer team for children with differing abilities, which was one of the most meaningful parts of my experience. It taught me how to adapt to individual needs, build confidence, and create an inclusive, supportive environment for every child.

Hi, my name is Michelle, I’m 25 years old, I work from home for a non-profit, and am based in Williamsburg! I love to spend time with children, I babysit for many of my younger cousins who are all elementary school aged! In high school I worked at an after-school program at an elementary school in Maryland where I was responsible for kindergartners and first graders! I helped them with homework, snack time, and took them out to the playground! I also love cats, and have one myself so I would be happy to help out with any cats at home. I am also happy to do any dog walking!
