Hello, I'm Gina and I’m so excited to work with you! I’m a graduate of NYU where I received my Masters of Music in Vocal Performance (musical theatre). I’ve received in person guided and hands on training/instruction and certification in both adult and infant First Aid and CPR. I’m the middle child of three children, and one of 22 grandchildren in my family so I am very accustomed to being surrounded by young children running around! My mother has worked as an early childhood educator/administrator my entire life. Many of the tactics she utilized in her classroom were the same ones she used raising my siblings and I. I’ve learned much of what I use in childcare from her, including helping the young ones with their coursework! Hi, my name is Mashiyat and I have been working with kids since I was 16 and have always enjoyed it. I worked my summers in high school at a science and engineering camp where I was a counselor for ages 5-7. I became early education and care certified in college when I was a teaching assistant for the on campus daycare primarily as an infant/toddler daycare teacher. In addition to providing direct care for the babies in my classroom, I also have experience working with infants as a medical assistant for a pediatrician’s office and worked directly with families at a children’s hospital to enroll them into clinical trials. Although I have mostly worked with infants and toddlers, I also have experience with kids of all age groups from summer camp or other previous babysitting positions.
