I have several years of childcare and child development experience through volunteer, leadership, and internship roles. As Head of the Junior Committee at The Child Development Centre, I helped support teaching, structured activities, and volunteer training for children with special education needs. I also completed a Developmental Psychology Internship there, where I observed clinical psychologists, speech-language therapists, occupational therapists, and SEN teachers, and helped with child assessment materials. Hi there! I'm Karina, a recent NYU graduate offering child and pet care! As the eldest in my family I've been working with kids since I was little and love to work with the PreK-12 age range. I also work as an after school lead tutor with the NYPL during the school year and can help that same age range with any homework subject.
