Hi my name is Bethany and I'm 34 years old. I'm available for babysitting for date nights or any time needed out of the house or run errands for you. I also really love cleaning so that could be an option as well. I have done early child development from middle school until some years in college. I worked at Eugene Creative Care and at Campfire Columbia as a before and after school child care provider, as well as a nanny, in total 8 years before branching out into other professions. I currently work in construction, however things have been slowing down for my trade recently.

I have over 10 years experience working with children. I am currently a Teacher’s Aide in a 2nd grade classroom, and this is my second year doing so. I have 7 years of summer camp experience and 2 years on leadership of summer camps. I have tutored, housesat and pet sat in between the aforementioned experience. I nannied March 2020-August 2020 everyday for a family and continued a working relationship with them through the summers following 2020. I am compassionate, caring, loyal, trustworthy and resilient. I have worked with kids 6 months old to kids who are 14. In college I served as a new student peer mentor for 2 school years which meant checking in with students their first and second years of college and they always knew they could come to me if they needed anything. I also served for 3 school years as a peer support facilitator, holding space for those to come and talk and offering advice as well as getting advice and connection for my own life.

I first started babysitting when I was thirteen years old - the same year that I got my Red Cross babysitting certification. I have babysat, driven, and supervised kids between the ages of one and fourteen on and off since then. Stay at home Mom of two kids. One 8-year-old and a 1-year-old. Very active and hands-on with at home creativity and learning projects. Very patient. Very attentive to children and their needs. I value structure and a routine to help the children get everything they need throughout the day from learning to play to nap times. I try not to encourage screen time and would much rather have them play outside or do arts and crafts. Very loving and kind to pets as well.
